THÉLA TERMS OF USE

Welcome to Théla’s online learning platform (“Platform”). By creating an account, enrolling in a course, attending a live session, or downloading materials, you agree to these Terms of Use.
These Terms apply to all free and paid offerings, including:
- Self-paced courses
- Live workshops or webinars
- Digital downloads and worksheets
- Bundled programs
- Any future educational products offered through this Platform
1. Educational Nature of Services
All courses and materials provided by Théla are for educational and informational purposes only.
They do not constitute psychotherapy, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment unless you have separately entered into a formal clinical service agreement with Théla through a therapy contract.
Participation in any course or download does not establish a therapist-client relationship.
2. Not Crisis Support
This Platform does not provide emergency or crisis services.
If you are experiencing:
- Suicidal thoughts
- Risk of self-harm
- Severe emotional distress
- Immediate safety concerns
Please contact emergency services.
In Canada: call or text 9-8-8 or dial 911 in an emergency.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase Products.
4. Personal Use License
When you enroll in or purchase a course, you receive a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license for personal use only.
You may not:
- • Share login credentials
- Distribute, reproduce, or resell materials
- Upload materials to public drives or file-sharing platforms
- Record live sessions without written permission
- Use materials for commercial or teaching purposes without authorization
All content remains the intellectual property of Théla / Bonny Kaman Li.
5. Live Sessions (If Applicable)
If you enroll in a live course or workshop:
- Attendance is not guaranteed if you fail to join during scheduled times.
- Recordings may or may not be provided at Théla’s discretion.
- Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in removal without refund.
You agree not to record, screenshot, or distribute live session content unless explicitly permitted.
6. Payments & Refunds
Pricing is listed in [CAD].
For paid digital courses and downloads:
- Access is typically granted immediately upon purchase.
- Due to the nature of digital delivery, purchases are generally non-refundable unless required by law.
For live programs:
- Refund terms will be specified on the sales page at the time of purchase.

7. Free Courses
Free courses are provided “as is” and may be modified, removed, or discontinued at any time without notice.
8. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining confidentiality of login information
- All activity under your account
- Ensuring your technology supports course access
9. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By creating an account, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in that policy.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Théla is not liable for:
- Emotional distress arising from participation in educational materials
- Decisions made based on course content
- Indirect or consequential damages
You accept full responsibility for how you use the information provided.
11. Modifications
Théla may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
